Not quite Thirstday.

Firstly, it's Movember. That means that you guys should be getting your 'stache on, and you ladies should be tolerant if you start seeing a bit more upper lip lint in the days to come. (I can't put in hyper links here-so go to www.movember.com ). (or go over to www.themikestand.com and he'll give you the correct link). (and while you're over there, sponsor Mike-he tries hard to grow his and though the results are sparse it's the effort and the money that count. So pledge big, and pledge often!). (this is the last set of brackets-i just felt like adding one more. Just for kicks.)

I went to see Where The Wild Things Are tonight and it was lovely. Fun story, good adaptation, great puppets, and excellent company. Billy and I went tonight because I'm tied up tomorrow and we both wanted to see it. Funnily enough, it's the first time we've ever gone to the movies together. We laughed and laughed. Good show.

The Princess of The Universe is in Halifax this week, and I'm hoping to meet up with her before she has to head back to Winterpeg. We shall see. I'll have to add the link in tomorrow with the edit, because again with the lack of hyper links that shout-out is somewhat lame.

Bedtime for now. Work at 7. Court at 7pm. Fun times.

Have a happy day, my lovelies! :)

Halloween

We went to a costume party in Cole Harbour on Saturday night. And while the costumes were great, the party turned out to be a bit lame. (J-you didn't miss anything!)

D came down, and was such a great sport! I came up with a billion (quite literally) costume ideas, some great, some notsomuch with the greatness. He chose for himself, and I made him his costume. He dressed up as the toilet-paper barbie. You know the one-everybody's grandmother had one keeping the spare roll cozy.

I have to say, it turned out quite well. Nobody guessed right away-many said 'southern belle?' Which was close-ish. But the second you said 'TP barbie' they all roared with laughter and said it was perfect. So I was happy. :)

Overall it was a lovely weekend. Too much of it involved my boss, but that's okay. He's been feeling lonely lately, so we included him in a lot of our weekend. The problem with that is that the more he is included, the more difficult it becomes to disentangle him when you would prefer some private time. Oh well.

Thirstday was a lot of fun. We went to the Triangle for a change, and it was lovely. The service sucked though, and the beer was pretty expensive. Makes me appreciate the Celtic Corner that much more! But the company was good, and the music was fine :)

I think I have finally gotten my Christmas vacation sorted out. I still have 2 full weeks of vacation time left. If I take 5 days in December leading up to Christmas, I can be off from the 11th to the 26th. Pretty slick, if I can get it approved!

Anyway, closing tonight and tomorrow, court Wednesday. Then hopefully all this car bullshit will be sorted out. Cross your fingers, folks.

Have a lovely Monday-the weather's spectacular!
